Random Technologies Canada 2004 - 2007 Product Concept Designer/ Product Development Manager • Developed product concept designs and prototypes for a start-up technology firm engaged in a project to develop novel devices. • Created concept designs, project planning, sourcing of external engineering services, test plan and part procurement. • I also supervised and guided the design team. The project was terminated due to a lack of investment funding. O-Two Systems International 1986 - 1990 Service Manager • I entered this business as a field service technician, learned all service aspects of the products and then developed a method to grow the business. I advanced myself to Service Manager. Department head of service for manufactured products, provided on-site service and training to fire departments, ambulance services and hospitals, developed product service procedure manuals, and provided on-going product improvement suggestions to Engineering Department. I set up, supervised and managed a network of service centres across Ontario. This involved initial outlet set-up, hiring, training, promotions, weekly sales status reports, monthly staff meetings, and advertisements.
